Doing things your own way seems like something obvious. And yet, if I think about it, my life moves along in very established, regulated patterns — hardly ‘my own way’ at all.
The book focuses on individuals and systems that avoid the routines of everyday life. Bringing together professional and amateur perspectives, rural and urban examples and macro and micro situations, the book presents a wide range of possible choices for how we can live our lives in ‘our own way’.
