Action in public space, duration: 9 minutes;
13, 14 May 2010, Ajdovscina Square, Ljubljana;

(8 wooden pallets covered with plywood, dimensions: 120 x 80 cm; metal hinges; 50 adapted dynamo flashlights; adapted street lamp with LED lights; electric wires; balloon; confetti); Produced by: Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E.; Photographs: Dejan Habicht;

The platform, which is made of wooden pallets, has built-in dynamo flashlights. By moving around and stepping on certain spots on the platform, the dancers activate the dynamos and produce electricity for the street lamp. This time again, choreographer Henrietta Hale worked with seven volunteer dancers for four days. The result is a 9-min action piece that shows the physical effort needed to produce the electricity for a single street lamp.
